About

☆About The Username
Demiglint is a fictional world whose name I have adopted as a username for the various websites I share my artwork on. Demiglint is a work with fantasy kingdoms, it follows a couple generations, family lines, the strengths of friendships, and the individual lives of various characters living a world plagued by problems of the previous generation's legacies. The Demiglint world has become entwined with several other storylines of mine and has had it's influence over others.

☆About the Artist; BJA
I'd consider myself an optimistic and open-minded dreamer with a belief that hard work, planning, and determination can achieve anything. I find I can get along with most anyone and I love talking to new people. I love working with people to make ideas and designs a reality through art and writing. I also enjoy bringing smiles to others' faces.
Wherever I go, I carry my clipboard or a sketchbook with me! I love creating character designs, creatures, settings, and plotlines. Art and writing have always been huge passions of mine and I draw inspiration from everywhere and everyone. I tend to see things in a new, different light. Details and expression are key aspects I always try to add into my work. I love learning and trying new things and will be willing to try anything at least once. Twice, if it doesn't kill me.

☆ About the Artwork
At my roots, I'm a traditional artist. I'm still kinda new to this whole digital art thing. Most of my work is done on paper and finished digitally, a blend of traditional and digital. I'm fond of water colour, pen and ink, and many other traditional mediums but  pencil and paper will always be my favourite.
I've been doing traditional art all my life. I've been learning digital art since 2013. Stylized art since 2011, I was doing realism long before I started experimenting with stylized art.

☆ Previous Work and Awards
I have done book covers and t-shirt designs as well as other freelance work. My work has won several awards in local art fairs, including a 2016 first place in Commercial artwork and another 2016 first place in non-objective painting and won several more awards in 2017.
